“SALES TAX BAR ASSOCIATION” was formed in the year 1953.The objective of the association is to update the members in particular and the public in general on Value Added Tax and Allied Laws in the State of Maharashtra. The association is registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950. Over the last 6 decades, the Association has not just kept pace with the times; it has always endeavored to update the knowledge of its members by arranging study circle meetings and legal seminars. The Bar maintains an excellent library where sizeable number of magazines and books on taxation are available for reference to the members.
